Course Information: Steel Design  (83006)

A study of structural design procedures of structural elements utilizing latest design methods according to building aand design codes. Emphasis will be on the integration of designing steel structures from conception to working drawings. Course content includes identification and calculation of various loads, structural framing, designing of trusses, joists, beams, columns, and simple connections.
