Course Information: Study Abroad Special Topics UK  (53125)

The SSU study abroad program takes place during the summer semester for a period of about four (4) weeks. Participants take courses in the history and culture of partnering countries (currently Brazil, the Caribbean, China Ghana, and India) as well as in other areas of the academic curriculum. A typical course load consists of six (6) credit hours or two courses. COBA students will enhance their knowledge of other cultures through a three-hour history/culture course, and will take the remaining three hours in a study abroad course in one of the business disciplines: accounting, management, marketing, or CISM. Through the study abroad program students can develop an in-depth appreciation of what it means to live and work in other cultures. Prerequisite: Permission of the Dean
