A study of the fundamentals of reinforced concrete design. Emphasis will be on the principles and practices involved in the structural components and the design of reinforced concrete utilizing latest design methods in accordance with ACI-codes. Course content includes designing of rectangular and T beams one-way slabs, columns, footings, and retaining walls. (2-2-4) Prerequisites: CIVT 3201K, 3701 and ENGT 2101K
