This course examines the debates and issues surrounding international development and the role education plays in that development, including the possibilities of global cooperation as well as the complexities of educational accountability and disparate societies. Educational development, as influenced by increasing access to technology, and the impacts of educational interventions will be analyzed related to their implications for students, nationally and internationally.
