Course Information: Dance History II  (20421)

Dance History II is a survey of the history of dance and anthropology perspective. Students will explore the recorded beginnings of dance from Europe: to include the dances of France, Spain, Ireland, and Russia. Dances from the Native Americans will be explored representing America. Dances that were birthed in America from the Pre-Modern era from Immigrants and developed cultures from enslaved blacks in America will also be introduced.
