This course examines conventional energy sources and systems, including fossil fuels and nuclear energy and introduces the basic concepts, technology, and application of various renewable energy sources and devices. Renewable energy sources that will be explored include wind, solar, hydro, biomass, tidal, and geothermal. The course will explore society's present needs and future energy demands.
