What is Microsoft Entra ID SSPR?

Savannah State University utilizes Microsoft Entra ID Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) to give students, faculty, and staff the ability to reset their own passwords without contacting the IT Help Desk. This ensures that you can regain access to your account 24/7, even during holidays or weekends.

Important: To use this service, you must have registered your security info (phone number or alternate email) beforehand.

First-Time Registration

If you haven't set up your security information yet, you must do so to enable SSPR. This is a one-time setup that protects your account.

Go to https://aka.ms/setupsecurityinfo and sign in with your current SSU credentials to add your mobile phone or personal email address.

If you do not know your student ID, commonly reffered to as your 915 number, or your student email address, these items can be located in the Future Tiger Portal.
