Autism Spectrum Disorders

This course will provide a comprehensive, research-based overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders allowing students to understand the disorder, the range of characteristics, and the issues faced by families of children with autism. This course will explore design, delivery and evaluation of instruction for individual with autism spectrum disorders, use of assistive technology and augmentative communication and implementation of functional behavior assessment and position support for children and adults.
