Course Information: Social Media Communication  (21384)

This course focuses on effective writing practices for a social media environment for students interested in public relations and strategic communication, journalism, and multimedia and digital communications, with a strong focus on public relations and strategic communication. The course is aligned to the digital portfolio content and tangibles relevant to mass communications, such as using social media as a PR tactic and in a final social media content campaign. Students will learn how to structure and write content that effectively delivers targeted and specific messages while engaging with the audience.
