Control Systems
(50019)
Analysis and design of linear feedback control systems are studied. Nyquist's and Routh's stability criteria, Bode plots, transient behavior, static error coefficients, and the steady-state behavior of various system types are presented. The root-focus method and block diagram representation and simplification are also included. Classroom instruction will be enhanced by laboratory work. (2-2-3) Prerequisites: ELET 3111K and MATH 2111
