Electric Circuit I

The concept of current, voltage, power, and resistance. This course deals with units, basic electrical laws, series and parallel circuits, network theorems, and instruments. AC sources, capacitance, inductance, and magnetism are introduced. Circuits are analyzed using PSPICE Laboratory work parallels class work and include the use of various AC and DC instruments. (2-2-3) Prerequisite: MATH 1113
