Offered fall semester only, this course surveys piano repertoire from Baroque through the Romantics (Baroque, Classical, Romantic). Students are expected to take 2 semesters of the course in order to cover all of the periods of piano repertoire. Classroom instruction is largely devoted to directed listening to the music. Reading assignments are given for outside work. Prerequisite: MUSC 2522.
