Course Information: Global E-Business  (21698)

This course focuses on the role of marketing in electronic commerce and social media. The technologies of electronic commerce, web-based marketing, social media, and the use of the Internet to improve marketing management operations are discussed. Students will learn how to develop a web site, conduct SEO (search engine optimization) and create interactive social media marketing and advertising tools in a multi-platform, multi-device digital environment. They will also learn how to use web, social media and text analytics that help to inform managers on the success and future design of strategic marketing programs.  A team approach is used. Competence is a prerequisite.
