Field Practicum IV

This course is concurrent with field seminar. Students register under a Faculty Liaison. The Faculty Liaison acts as the connection between the agency the student, and the school. The Faculty Liaison provides support for the Field Instructor and serves as a mentor for the student. It is expected that the Faculty Liaison be available to both the student and Field Instructor. The Liaison keeps the Director of Field Education informed of any problems, and meets with the Director of Field Education and student as needed. The Liaison completes an independent assessment of the student(s) by reviewing the student's portfolio and other relevant field assignments. The Liaison makes agency site visits to meet with the student(s) and the Field Instructor at least once a semester.
