This advance elective covers the history, development and application of both crisis theory and brief solution of biopsychosocial potential for healthy human development and social functioning. Emphasis is placed on practical application of techniques in situations such as natural disaster, death and dying, AIDS, battering, post-traumatic stress syndrome, rape, suicide and family dysfunction.
